When Hulu wanted an amazing April Fool’s prank to play on their custumers, they turned to Trailer Park to create “Hulu Datr.” On April 1st, when customers visited the site they were greeted with a large, above-the-fold banner offering a new soulmate search app run by Hulu. The prank was so elaborate it included 11 ads in total, including ads for “Mood Settr,” a prank extra that was being “offered” to set the mood once you found Mr. or Mrs. Right. The prank was so popular it was included in numerous roundups of best April Fool’s pranks by brands, including Adweek and Mashable.
